Nurse Practitioners

Mrs Debbie Yates (f)

Debbie is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and works alongside our GPs in our on the day surgeries.  Debbie is our Respiratory Lead, under takes Minor Surgery, Cervical Screening and is a mentor for Student Nurses.

Mrs Julia Mullaney (f)

Julia is our is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner and works alongside our GPs in our on the day surgeries.  Julia does home visits most mornings.  Julia also sees patients with Chronic Diseases and is a mentor for Student Nurses. 

Nurses

Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. They examine patients, make a diagnosis and plan care, including prescribing certain products.

They are experts in many areas of disease management such as diabetes and asthma. They can be seen during normal surgery hours – by appointment where possible – and at specific clinics.
Mrs Katrina Margerison (f)

Katrina is our Practice Nurse.  Katrina sees patients in clinic for Chronic Diseases such as Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, CKD, Childhood Vaccinations, Travel Immunisations and Cervical Screening.  Katrina is also a mentor for Student Nurses.

 

Fiona Adeoye (f)

Fiona is our Practice Nurse.  Fiona has clinics for Childhood Vaccinations, Travel Vaccinations, Cervical Screening, NHS Health Checks, Phlebotomy, Ear Care.  Fiona is also a mentor for Student Nurses.

 

Ms Louise Chivers (f)

Louise is our Practice Nurse.  Louise has clinics for Childhood Vaccinations, Travel Immunisations, Cervical Screening.  Louise is also a mentor for Student Nurses.

 

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Maria Slater (f)

Our healthcare assistants assist medical personnel in the care of Practice patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education. Our healthcare assistants job responsabilities include: • Assisting with the practices INR service • Providing flu , pneumococcol and B12 injections • BP monitoring • New patient registration checks • BP monitoring • Urinalysis • Phlebotomy •  Provide lifestyle advice  to patients  • Weight monitoring
